Advert description
I am a recent First Class graduate of the University of Cambridge where I studied Philosophy, and an incoming student on the Philosophy BPhil at the University of Oxford on a fully-funded scholarship.
Maths was the subject I struggled with most at A-Level. I was working at a B/C level just a few months out from my final exams, but – with a lot of hard work – I managed to meet my Cambridge offer and achieve a surprisingly high A*. Having found Maths difficult puts me in an ideal position for supporting students with it: I know what it’s like to feel like you don't understand the content, but I also know how to overcome these difficulties. In particular, I know that, when it comes to Maths, practice really does make perfect.
I also have hands-on experience of tutoring A-Level Maths, having volunteered to support year-13 students with their Maths during my first year at university.
