Advert description
I have been immersed in the subject of Psychology for more than 10 years, and in that time I have completed a BSc Undergraduate Psychology course (graduating with a 1st), an MSc Research Methods in Psychology (Distinction), and a PhD concentrating on the relationships between memory, sleep and dreaming.
I have spent more than three years lecturing Psychology and supporting learning at Nottingham Trent University. I am therefore experienced at leading classes and learning tasks at university level, focusing on the core skills required to succeed in Psychology, including critical thinking, literature searching and comprehension, data analysis, information literacy, as well as the 'soft' skills which employers find to be highly valuable in graduates. I always try to make learning both fun and interesting, and challenge my students with thoughtful questions to encourage independent and creative thinking.
While Psychology is a very large and diverse topic and I cannot provide expert knowledge on all the varied sub-fields, I can support students in developing their own learning journey with the core skills I can impart and train up.
