I have experience tutoring students across a wide range of ages, abilities and backgrounds, from helping students strengthen core foundation maths skills to supporting high-achieving students aiming for A* grades in A-level Maths and Further Maths. I can also help students preparing for competitions such as the British Maths Olympiad and British Physics Olympiad, drawing on my own experience achieving awards in both. Alongside academic tutoring, I have experience working with ESL students and disadvantaged learners, which has helped me develop a patient, adaptable and supportive teaching style tailored to each individual student’s needs and confidence level. My lessons focus on building genuine understanding through clear explanations, worked examples and guided problem-solving, while also developing strong exam technique and logical thinking skills to help students achieve their goals.
