Science teacher trainee tutoring all Science GCSEs

I am currently doing a PGCE in secondary science (with a specialism in biology). Although my specialism is Biology, I am trained to teach all sciences, including chemistry, biology and physics to GCSE level following the UK curriculum. I have experience working with SEND students and hope to cater to the needs of all my students, creating a safe learning environment.

My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. I use one-to-one discussions to explore ideas, develop understanding, and encourage students to think independently rather than simply memorising answers. I focus on exam-style questions to improve exam technique, confidence, and students’ ability to apply their knowledge effectively.
