Saxophone lessons to all ages and abilities!

Are you looking to start playing saxophone or further your ability in a friendly and fun environment? Hey! My name is Mika and I absolutely love saxophone, and enjoy sharing my passion of music with students of any level!


I can offer regular lessons, in an enjoyable environment focusing on technique, reading, theory, improvisation and more. Anything you are looking to learn I will be able to guide you!

I have been playing since I was 9 years old, brought up playing classical music and learned jazz at the Queensland Conservatorium, where I got my Bachelor of Music. If you think that’s diverse, I’ve toured Australia performing ska, folk, prog, rock, soul and jazz.

I love to teach music, and have done so for 9 years, teaching from as young as 6 to 74 years old. I have been lucky to teach in schools, privately and various workshops throughout my teaching career.
