Mika Atkinson

I am a bubbly, confident tutor and always bring a calm yet focused experience to all lessons. I cater my lessons specifically to each student whether it's focusing on classical repertoire, jazz improvisation, reading music, aural training, music theory or playing your first notes and how to get a great sound from the start. I have a detailed lesson plan and share lesson notes with all students allowing for them to read back on what we have covered and know the future plan. It feels fun and creative, and you won't notice how focused you have been until you put the sax down!
