I have private tutor experience, I did this for 5 years. Firstly, I would like to create a rapport with my students to discover what works best for them and what they would like to achieve by taking lessons. Secondly, we would create an agenda together of goals and targets which would be tailor made to the student learning style. Thirdly, we would get to work and achieve those goals.
