Advert description
I received an 8 (A*) in my GCSE maths and an A* in my A-Level maths (highest grade possible). I have been tutoring GCSE maths for just over a year now and have tutored students of all backgrounds and in foreign countries. Having only been a school student 2 years ago, I understand the immersive and interesting ways to tutor. In university I have studied advanced maths and advanced statistics as modules.
In my previous tutoring assignments, I tutored online as well as in person. I have learnt how to interact with students on a virtual platform to ensure their learning is not jeopardised.
I first joined tutoring to help students reach their potential. Having used a tutor in my schooling, I understand the importance of what tutors do and will work to create meaningful impact in my students' lives.
I am engaging and try to put a smile onto my students faces, be that through a joke or asking them about their day.
Being dyslexic myself, I also understand how to help work around such learning difficulties.
I am also open to exploring new ways of teaching. I know that one method does not work for every student, therefore I will work with students to find a method which fits for them.
