HI! I’m Zhili, a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with advanced proficiency in English. I’m originally from China and now live in the UK, where I’ve gained experience teaching and working in English-language environments. I can effectively bridge the gap between Mandarin and English, making learning easier and more accessible for beginners and intermediate learners.

In my lessons, we will learn Pinyin together systematically. Let me help you with all those difficult syllable pronunciations!! We will focus on learning characters and radicals, vocabulary building, sentence order and structure and most importantly, speaking in contexts.

As someone with a passion for both languages and cultures, I specialise in teaching Mandarin with practical, real-life contexts, incorporating Chinese pop culture, current trends, and comparisons with Western culture. This not only keeps lessons engaging but also helps students navigate cultural nuances and communicate confidently.
