I have taught Japanese to high school pupils, university students and members of the general public in the UK.

I have 25 years teaching experience in Japan and the UK. I have experience tutoring in a variety of levels, Introduction level to Intermediate level. I also have experience teaching GCSE Japanese at the secondary school. I have a keen ability to understand a learner’s needs, and am good at creating lesson plans, organising workflow and presenting ideas in a compelling way. Planning is tailored to each learner’s level, pace and objectives, and lessons are conducted whilst monitoring the learner’s progress. To ensure that learners do not lose motivation, interesting lessons are provided.
