Friendly Online Maths Tutor for Primary School Children

I am a patient and supportive online maths tutor who helps primary school children build confidence and clarity in mathematics.

My lessons focus on strengthening core numeracy skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and basic problem-solving. I take time to explain concepts step by step, using simple examples and practical methods so children feel comfortable and supported as they learn.

I have experience working with children in structured environments, which has taught me the importance of reassurance, encouragement, and clear communication at an early age. I create a calm and positive learning space where students feel safe to ask questions, practise without pressure, and learn from mistakes.

Each lesson is tailored to the individual child’s pace and learning style. Whether a student needs help catching up, understanding homework, or building confidence in maths, I adapt my approach to meet their needs and make learning feel achievable and enjoyable.

Alongside tutoring, I currently work part-time, which allows me to bring strong organisation, preparation, and reliability into every session. Teaching maths is something I genuinely enjoy, especially when I see a child move from feeling unsure to feeling confident and capable.
