Advert description
Hi, I’m Fiona, a qualified Primary Teacher, SENDCo, and Wellbeing Lead with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have spent the last seven years providing personalised one-to-one tuition alongside teaching in UK and international schools, supporting learners from primary age through to adults.
I specialise in English and Maths, with extensive experience helping children build confidence, close learning gaps, prepare for exams, and achieve their academic goals. I have particular expertise in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, and English as an Additional Language (EAL), adapting every lesson to suit each learner’s individual strengths and learning style.
As a current Year 5 teacher at a British International School and the school’s SENDCo and Wellbeing Lead, I understand how to make learning engaging, accessible, and enjoyable. My teaching combines high academic expectations with patience, encouragement, and creative strategies that help students develop confidence alongside their knowledge.
Whether your child needs extra support, wants to stretch their abilities, or is preparing for SATs, Functional Skills, or GCSEs, I create personalised lessons that inspire progress and foster a genuine love of learning. My aim is to ensure every student feels valued, capable, and empowered to reach their full potential.
