Economics & Business tutoring for A Level and University students

I am an Economics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students build confidence and clarity in economics. I hold a BSc in Economics and Statistics alongside an MSc in Economic Policy, with a focus on macroeconomics, economic policy, and applied econometrics.

I tutor a wide range of topics including microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, fiscal and monetary policy, economic growth, development, and introductory econometrics. My academic training allows me to explain both theory and real-world applications clearly, whether students are preparing for exams, coursework, or simply want to strengthen their understanding of key concepts.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material or any questions you’ve been struggling with. From there, we focus on one or two key topics, such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, or economic policy. I explain concepts step by step, using simple language, diagrams, and real-world examples to make abstract ideas easier to understand. I encourage questions throughout, and we regularly pause to check understanding rather than rushing through material.

My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I focus not just on helping you pass exams, but on helping you genuinely understand economics and feel more confident applying it independently.
