Dutch lessons for beginners! Intensive language-learning for (future) expats from a fluent speaker

I emigrated to the Netherlands from Great Britain as a child and have thus been speaking Dutch every day for the past six years. I have experience learning as a foreigner which gives me prior knowledge of exactly where people (particularly British people) tend to have difficulty, and I am prepared to support in those areas. Additionally, I am currently a student of BA (Hons) Linguistics and Anthropology at the University of Manchester.

As a student of linguistics and formerly of psychology, the teaching of languages has always been very stimulating to me. Several years’ experience in teaching both languages and other subject areas to young students has perhaps taught me more than I’ve had the pleasure of teaching them. While I definitely bring a certain flair with me - students have often called me the ‘fun teacher’ - patience, dedication, openness and efficiency are at the core of my work ethic and my approach to teaching.
