I teach EFL, English Literature and Language, as well as Creative Writing & Writing

I pride myself on tailoring all my lessons to suit the personalities, learning styles and objectives of each individual student. I teach Writing, Creative Writing, English Lit and Language, and I also teach Drama and Theatre Studies.

My background is in the arts and I work professionally as a playwright, actor and freelance writer.

I can help students with comprehension and critical reading skills, as well as mining a text for an in-depth understanding of its themes, its author’s intentions and the literary devices employed. I also encourage all of my students to think outside of the box and not be afraid of trusting their own interpretations and instincts.

I can teach you how to best develop, structure, and clarify your ideas in a style that feels true to you. There is no clear-cut path to genuine expression – and while there are plenty of techniques on craft we’ll learn along the way – my ultimate goal is to help you nurture and claim your authentic voice. I believe that all writing is – at its core – creative, and the better we are at writing creatively, the more we’re able to accomplish with our writing.
