I’ve always been fascinated by the world around us not just knowing where a place is on a map, but understanding why it is there

My teaching style is all about bringing geography to life. Instead of simply asking students to memorise facts, I’ll take them on an imaginary journey, helping them picture the places we’re studying, understand the people and history behind them, and discover the science that makes each place unique. I’ll use stories, real-world examples, maps, images and interesting facts to make each lesson feel like an adventure. My aim is for students to finish a lesson feeling like they’ve actually travelled there, while also understanding the geography behind what they’ve seen.
