Learn GCSE Maths with someone who has the most up-to-date knowledge on current exams | Incoming Oxford Physics undergraduate

Having just completed my A-Level exams where I have achieved A*A*A* in Maths, Further-Maths and Physics and achieved 10 GCSEs at grades 8-9 in 2024 including a 9 in GCSE Maths I can offer first-hand knowledge of the current GCSE syllabus, effective revision resources and exam techniques for success.

My teaching will range from reinforcing the fundamental skills and exam techniques I found most important, to breaking down topics I have seen people struggle the most into clear, simple steps. Past experiences have made me strongly of the opinion that it is better to reinforce fundamental skills and build confidence through doing problems rather than memorising dull methods that neglect a deeper understanding, and I hope to reflect that in my tutoring.

Lessons can be from 1-2 hours, are online on Zoom, and a lot of my teaching will be via a digital whiteboard (such as Miro or Zoom's interactive whiteboard) so that we can share our workings out clearly and in real time. I will also ask for any topics you want to focus on ahead of each lesson to maximise session time and so that I can provide personalised exam questions and materials.
