I have just completed my A-Level exams where I am predicted A*A*A* in Maths, Further-Maths and Physics as well as Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Physics. Additionally, I currently hold an offer to study Physics at Oxford University this October. This means I can offer first-hand knowledge of the current GCSE syllabus, effective revision resources and exam techniques for success.
I aim to help students of all abilities in their journey through GCSE Maths and Physics by reinforcing the fundamentals and hopefully building confidence (maybe even enjoyment!) in the subject rather than memorising dull methods over and over that neglect a deeper understanding. This method especially caters towards those who want to pursue the subject/STEM subjects further at A-Level as well as being more engaging for both me and you, the student.
Lessons will be online and can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and typically I'll ask you before the lesson what topics you want to go over to maximise session time. We will then walk through each topic one by one via past paper and general practice questions whilst also trying to identify any other areas of weakness and revisiting previous topics in the process. Additionally I would be happy to walk through past papers and provide detailed feedback on any work done outside of lessons.
Whether you find Maths or Physics particularly difficult or hope to push beyond the syllabus and seek more of a challenge I aim to adapt lessons to whatever style suits your needs.
