Experienced Primary Teacher/Tutor

Hi my name is Sophie, I am 23 years old and a qualified teacher and primary tutor.
I am looking to combine my skills, knowledge, and desire to improve outcomes for children and families in the community, so every child has the possibility to reach their full potential. My references will confirm that I have a strong work ethic, a positive 'can do' attitude, and I am delighted to work in a team.

I have completed three outstanding placements through initial teacher training and my lessons are always interactive. I aim to keep the children engaged and my activities are differentiated to enable each child to reach their full potential using a range of different resources and activities.

I have attended numerous CPD phonics sessions and attended twilight sessions to further develop my curriculum knowledge.

I am also employed by Progress Tutoring; I tutor small groups of six children weekly helping them progress in their learning. I adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs and abilities. I observe and assess the children’s work to determine progress and planning to make suggestions for improvement.

I have experience teaching EYFS/KS1 and KS2 including preparation for SATS and phonics screening check.
