Currently studying maths and physics at university with previous experience tutoring maths at GCSE level and below

Tutoring for me means planning effective and efficient lessons, keeping a useful track of the student's progress and bringing the student's goal to reality. I have always had a passion for maths, and I truly believe tutors can learn from their students by going back to the basics.

My previous tutoring experience has taught me the importance of efficient communication of ideas and forming a stressless relationship with the student so that all communication is smooth effective. It has also taught me important tactics to keep students engaged, such as varying tasks during lessons and tailoring lessons to the individuals' method of learning.

When I am tutoring, I strive to see progress. I want to build confidence in my students and give them a real chance to greatly improve their level. I pride myself in my efforts to effectively prepare my tutoring sessions and continuously keep track of where my students are at and where they want to be in the near future.
Keeping my sessions focussed on the main goal of the tutoring is how I believe we quickly see good progress. I ensure that all tutoring tasks are tailored to the specific student and I keep sessions varied and interesting in order to ensure maximum engagement throughout the sessions.
