1-1 Maths tutoring who can help with improving confidence and help students reach their potential and access the higher grades

I have 2 years of experience in tutoring GCSE maths specifically as well as 6 years of experience working with children in other settings so have the necessary communication skills, experience and ability to adapt to each child needs to build a good rapport between myself and your child and minimise their potential.

I offer personalised, private lessons in secondary school/ GCSE Maths. I have a strong background in Maths and am currently studying a masters in Sports Biomechanics, a course which requires a profound understanding of Maths and mechanics. I have recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 1st Class Sport and Exercise Science degree which involved the equivalent content of A level Maths in a module called core mechanics in which I achieved a mark of 85. I also achieved a grade 8 of maths at GCSE maths myself.

Using both my maths expertise and my experience of working with children I am able to lead structured pre planned sessions using a variety of teaching techniques to improve your child’s maths skills. Whether that be to improve their confidence, reinforcing fundamental skills, homework support, going through class work in a 1-1 setting, or access the highest grades, I’m able to offer something for everyone!
