Young University qualified English tutor with 4+ years prior experience in tutoring and online learning

I am seeking an online tutoring opportunity to begin asap. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English with Classical Studies and have always had a keen interest in learning the technical side of the English language. Personally, I love reading and I am very passionate about literature.

I have experience working with a range of different ages, from KS1 to KS4. During the Covid lockdowns, I solely home-schooled two children whilst working as a full time nanny. I assisted with homework and extra curricular learning too.

I also have experience teaching older children, privately working to tutor a group of 7+ children towards their IGCSE exams. I covered English and Science and tailored a few individual lessons to suit the children's needs for other subjects (E.g. RS, Classics and History).

I also have worked in an international summer school, helping children learn English as a second language.

I am comfortable adapting my teaching styles to work for what each individual might need and would love to encourage each student to reach their personal potential. I have experience working with children with ADHD & Dyslexia so am comfortable finding different ways to engage and teach the subject.
