Advert description
I have a strong academic background in biological sciences, holding both a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh and an MRes in Experimental Neuroscience from Imperial College London. Throughout my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of core biological principles, ranging from cellular biology and genetics to physiology and neuroscience. I also have experience conducting and presenting scientific research, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex biological concepts in a clear and engaging way.
In teaching biology, I would aim to make lessons interactive, inquiry-based, and relevant to real-world contexts. I would encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and apply their knowledge through practical experiments, discussions, and visual aids. I believe in using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles — including group activities, demonstrations, and digital tools — to help students not only memorise facts but truly understand the underlying processes of life sciences.
