Advert description
I am a first-year Economics and Finance student at the University of Manchester, offering friendly and supportive online maths tutoring. I achieved an A* in A-level Maths and a grade 9 at GCSE, so I know what it takes to do well in exams and how to build strong mathematical understanding.
Because I completed these exams relatively recently, I understand the methods, topics and exam technique that students are expected to master. I can help with all areas of maths, whether a student is aiming to strengthen the basics, improve confidence, keep up in class or work towards top grades.
My lessons are clear, structured and adapted to each student. I focus on explaining topics in a simple way, working through examples carefully, and then building confidence through practice questions and exam-style problems. I also place a strong emphasis on technique, so students learn not just how to solve problems, but how to pick up marks effectively in tests and exams.
Alongside my academic background, I have also mentored Year 7 students, which helped me develop a patient and encouraging approach. I want lessons to feel comfortable and productive, so students feel able to ask questions, learn from mistakes and make steady progress.
Whether you are preparing for GCSEs, working towards A-level exams, or just looking for extra support in maths, I aim to make the subject feel more manageable, more logical and less intimidating.
