Advert description
Hi! I'm Ellie, a postgraduate student at University College London with a background in psychology and neuroscience alongside strong academic experience in maths and statistics.I specialise in GCSE Maths at the Foundation as well as primary maths.
What sets me apart is my experience working with students with ADHD/ASD. I understand how neurodivergence often affects learning: difficulty sustaining focus on abstract problems, frustration of knowing something in one session and blanking in the next, and the way traditional tutoring often doesn't land. My lessons are adapted to work with how ADHD brains, with shorter focused bursts, varied tasks, and immediate feedback.
In general, lesson structure is flexible, and I follow the student's lead on pace and adjust as we go. I cover times tables, fractions, decimals, word problems, and reasoning. I'm based in NW6 and available in-person locally or online.
