UCL History, Politics and Economics undergraduate tutoring GCSE and A-level students in Economics, Politics and History.

My teaching approach is structured, exam-focused, and tailored to each student’s needs. I begin by identifying the student’s exam board, current level, and specific areas for improvement, then plan lessons around clear objectives linked to the specification. I combine clear explanation with guided practice and exam-style questions to ensure students understand both subject content and how to apply it effectively under timed conditions. My degree, which combines qualitative and quantitative disciplines, allows me to teach both strong written argumentation and analytical skills, particularly in subjects such as Economics and Politics where evaluation and evidence are essential. I regularly check understanding through questioning and discussion, adapt my pace and methods as needed, and provide targeted feedback and revision strategies to help students build confidence and achieve consistent progress.
