I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a diverse range of skills and a strong moral compass. With a solid background in teaching and a genuine passion for helping students thrive, I'm excited to offer my expertise through online tutoring.

My teaching journey spans nearly a decade at Queen’s College in Guyana, where I meticulously planned and delivered curriculum to students across grades 7 to 13. This experience has honed my ability to tailor my teaching strategies to individual learning needs, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential.

My educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Agricultural Science with Credit from the University of Guyana and an Associate Degree in Education from Cyril Potter College of Education. I've also completed a 120-hour TESOL Certificate Course from the International Open Academy, which equips me to teach English effectively to a diverse range of learners.

I take immense pride in my role in piloting and securing top merits in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations. Additionally, my collaboration with the University of Guyana and the Ministry of Education on research projects demonstrates my commitment to improving the evaluation and learning process. I believe in fostering a positive and respectful learning environment, helping students recognize their potential through targeted efforts and a deep understanding of curriculum, classroom management, and teaching practices.

My international exposure, including the U.S. Department of State-sponsored English program and my involvement with the Sophia Community Development Association, underlines my dedication to promoting education and community development. Designing ESL curriculum for Venezuelan Migrant Children and teaching English to them exemplifies my commitment to making a meaningful impact.

Beyond my teaching prowess, I possess a range of additional skills, from writing, editing, and proofreading to motivational speaking, debating, and creative pursuits like painting, drawing, craft-making, and singing. These skills contribute to a well-rounded approach to education that encourages creativity and holistic growth.
