I have 17 years’ experience in education and 5 years as an online tutor, specialising in GCSE English, Maths, and Humanities. I work particularly well with students who are anxious, neurodivergent, or disengaged from mainstream education. My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and fully tailored to the individual. I use students’ interests to guide learning, break down complex topics into manageable steps, and adapt lessons in real-time to suit their pace and needs. I focus on building confidence as well as academic skill, using a mix of visual aids, interactive tasks, and discussion to help knowledge stick.
