My teaching format is structured to be flexible, personalised, and engaging, with a strong focus on each student’s unique needs. I work with students from KS1 to KS4, specialising in SEN, and I adapt my approach to suit their individual learning styles.

My sessions typically begin with a brief review of previous work, followed by a clear outline of the objectives for the lesson. I ensure that each lesson is interactive, incorporating a variety of teaching methods, such as visual aids, hands-on activities, and multimedia resources, to maintain engagement and cater to different learning preferences. I also use accessible online tools and platforms that support collaboration, including shared whiteboards and screen sharing, so students can actively participate in the lesson.

I place a strong emphasis on building confidence, ensuring that students feel supported throughout their learning journey. For students with SEN, I use tailored strategies, such as breaking tasks into smaller, manageable steps, providing visual supports, and offering frequent positive reinforcement to keep them motivated. I also encourage regular reflection and self-assessment, helping students become more independent learners.

To track progress, I provide detailed feedback after each session, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating achievements. I maintain regular communication with both students and their parents or carers, ensuring they are always informed about progress and next steps.
