Advert description
I hold a degree in Economics from The Open University, and several industry-recognized certifications in Data Analysis. I bring both academic precision and practical, hands-on experience to every session.
My background spans microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the full quantitative toolkit — from regression analysis and hypothesis testing through to panel data modelling, time series forecasting, and causal inference. I'm comfortable working across R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, and I tailor every session to the tools and curriculum my students are actually using.
Whether you're wrestling with a dissertation, preparing for exams, or trying to genuinely understand the theory behind the methods, I can help you get there.
With over 5 years of tutoring, I've worked with students at undergraduate and a-level across a wide range of economics and data modules, including:
Econometrics — OLS, panel data (fixed/random effects), time series, and logit models
Applied Statistical Modelling — hypothesis testing, model selection, regression diagnostics, and interpretation of results
Core Economics — micro and macro theory, game theory, market structures, and policy analysis
I've supported students through university coursework, dissertation chapters, exam revision, and module resits — and I'm experienced at identifying exactly where a student is losing marks and fixing it efficiently.
