I am a trained primary teacher and English Language & Linguistics graduate with experience teaching and supporting children across the primary age range and young adults in higher education. I offer personalised English and literacy tuition tailored to each learner’s individual needs, interests and goals. My approach is calm, encouraging and engaging. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths and areas for development, explain concepts clearly and break learning into manageable steps. I use questioning, modelling, practice and regular feedback to check understanding and help children recognise their own progress. Above all, I want pupils to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves. My aim is not simply to improve academic performance, but to help children become confident readers, writers, communicators and independent learners.
