I am a trained primary teacher and English Language & Linguistics graduate with experience teaching and supporting children across the primary age range and young adults in higher education. I offer personalised English and literacy tuition tailored to each child’s individual needs, interests and goals. My approach is calm, encouraging and engaging. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths and areas for development, explain concepts clearly and break learning into manageable steps. I use questioning, modelling, practice and regular feedback to check understanding and help children recognise their own progress. Above all, I want pupils to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and challenging themselves.
