Advert description
Many young people don’t need more pressure. They need the right support to manage stress, improve motivation, and feel more in control of their learning. I primarily work with students in the UK.
I work with students aged 11–18, as well as sixth form, college, and university students. I support those who may be struggling with confidence, motivation, or feeling a bit overwhelmed by the demands on them. My mentoring helps students make sense of what they are experiencing and find practical, gentle ways to move forward.
I combine emotional support with personal strategies tailored to each individual. This includes:
Building self-belief and a positive mindset.
Improving motivation and organisation.
Develop study strategies that work for them as individuals.
Managing pressure by breaking down big tasks into manageable steps.
Building resilience to help them handle setbacks and feel more in control of their future.
Alongside my mentoring work, I have a background in senior consultancy roles, which helps me bring a calm, structured, and grounded approach to my sessions. I am also currently training in counselling skills to ensure I provide a safe, encouraging space where young people feel truly heard. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am registered with the DBS Update Service.
