Supporting confident, critically-grounded artistic thinking and practice

I am a 3rd-Year Undergraduate student at Goldsmiths (UOL), studying BA Design, with experience in traditional art practices, modern design thinking, and real-world studio work. I have also completed my IGCSEs and A-Levels in Art, History, and Media Studies. In my personal practice, I focus on storytelling, worldbuilding, and interactive design, including video games and audio-interactive art. My love for fiction comes from its ability to encourage self-reflection and explore worlds from multiple perspectives. When approaching the question of 'How will I teach?', I want students to begin with exploring what exists in the world around them and find what they care about, why they care about it and how would they add to it. Furthermore, I want students to explore the world for irrational connections between subjects and to keep pushing the envelope and exploring 'what-ifs' in their artistic practice and supporting their journey in doing so. My goal for the student is to foster a love for discovery and inventing and giving them the resources to do so.
