Spoken English Via Creativity & “Storytelling”

I’m a qualified English teacher and a musician from Kaliningrad. I specialise in improving spoken English. I have been teaching English to adults for more than seven years.

In my lessons students expand their vocabulary and improve fluency.
They learn to speak confidently and communicate effectively.
They receive the practice and correction that they need to succeed in English.

Adaptable, flexible and curious, I love getting to know my students and assisting them in reaching their full potential. I also love teaching because it inspires me to write new songs, create new stories.

I’d say that I have a very natural teaching style. I believe that the best learning happens when it comes out of a conversation or a discussion that you’re having. My classes are very conversational but from that conversation we’ll look at grammar, pronunciation and I’ll push the student's vocabulary to the next level. My classes are fun, creative, and intensive so students learn a lot. But more importantly I understand from my own experience what it’s like to learn a foreign language and how important it is to really use the language and put it into practice; because it is really only by doing that that we learn to recall the words from the memory—intuitively, without thinking—and start building phrases together and create our own sentences to communicate comfortably.

I'm the best tutor because I'm highly motivated - I am a musician and a writer and teaching English actually inspires me to write new songs, to create new stories; it also makes me happy. When I see a person learn or discover something new during my classes it brings me back the moment when I was experiencing this myself and I relieve it again through the personality, it is very fulfilling. The excitement of getting another person to understand what I did fuels me to teach.
