Advert description
My Spanish lessons will be friendly, supportive and adapted to each student’s age, ability and individual learning goals. For beginners, I will start with everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, basic grammar and useful conversations to help students build confidence in Spanish from the beginning.
For children and secondary school students, I will combine practical learning with structured Spanish theory. I plan to use the ¡Viva! 1 Segunda Edición Pupil Book as one of my main teaching resources for beginners and secondary-level students. The textbook will provide a structured foundation for learning vocabulary, grammar, reading and written Spanish, while allowing students to progress through topics step by step.
Lessons will include a combination of textbook activities and more interactive exercises. Students will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as pronunciation and everyday conversation. I will encourage students to speak Spanish as much as possible during lessons, while explaining grammar and more difficult concepts clearly in English when necessary.
For GCSE students, I will focus on the key skills required for their course, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar. Lessons can also include GCSE-style questions, revision, exam preparation and additional practice in areas where the student needs more support. GCSE lessons will be adapted to the student’s school syllabus and examination board.
My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
