I love understanding students' needs before even teaching. This helps me tailor my teaching to match students' needs. I enjoy explaining complex concepts in a simplified and relatable way. I like my students to know the reason we are studying the topic, how it relates to other topics, as well as the skills we develop from that topic. I set out clear objectives and real life examples to improve understanding. I also value reflection and every now and then I allow my students to reflect on the learning process.
