Reading and Writing Tutor (ages 8 and above)

Hello! My name is Charlize Pope, and I am an international student pursuing my Master's degree. I graduated from Lewis & Clark College (USA) with a 3.7/4 GPA in Rhetoric and Media Studies and a minor in English Literature. My undergraduate education required me to read, research, analyze, and write persuasive pieces. I applied these skills effectively in college, leading me to present my research paper at my college's Festival of Scholars event.
Outside of my academic experience, I have worked in a variety of ways with children ages 8 and above. I have managed children in professional spaces while working as an Assistant Stage Manager at an opera house and as a sports coach, fostering a positive learning environment. As part of my undergraduate degree, I spent a semester working with high schoolers (ages 16-17), teaching them how to apply the writing skills that I had learned. I taught them how to properly outline their thoughts and visualize them on paper.
