Advert description
My Economics lessons are engaging, tailored, and designed to help every student reach their full potential. I believe that Economics is not just a subject to study for exams, but a way of thinking that helps us understand the world – from government policies to business decisions and everyday choices. Because of this, I make sure each lesson feels relevant, interesting, and connected to real life.
In my sessions, students don’t just memorise facts – they develop the skills to think critically, apply theory to real-world examples, and approach questions with confidence. I use a wide range of teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, from interactive discussions and case studies to practice exam questions and model answers. By linking key topics to current events – such as the cost of living crisis, global trade tensions, or technological change – I make abstract theories more accessible and memorable.
Every lesson is carefully structured with clear goals, so students know exactly what they are aiming for. I build in opportunities to check understanding through short quizzes, practice tasks, and discussion, ensuring that progress is visible and consistent. My feedback is always personalised, constructive, and focused on improvement, so students can see exactly how to strengthen their knowledge and technique.
Because every learner is different, I adapt my lessons to individual needs – whether that means breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, revisiting areas of difficulty, or stretching high-achieving students with extension tasks and advanced debates. I place a strong emphasis on exam preparation, teaching students how to approach different question types, write high-level essays, and manage their time effectively under pressure.
Most importantly, I aim to make Economics enjoyable. Many students find that once they start seeing the subject in action – in the news, in business, even in their own lives – their motivation grows. I want my students not only to achieve excellent results but also to come away with a genuine curiosity about how economies work and how they can apply economic thinking beyond the classroom.
Whether the goal is to build confidence, improve grades, or aim for top marks, my Economics lessons provide the personalised support and challenge needed for success.
