I am a qualified secondary teacher specialising in English and Physical & Health Education, with strong experience in behaviour management, safeguarding, coaching, and leadership. I am passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where young people can build confidence, teamwork, and independence through sport and activity-based learning. Throughout my experience with the public education system in British Columbia, Canada, I encountered many teachers who both encouraged me to improve and offered guidance and support along the way. I wanted to become a teacher to have a positive impact on my students’ lives; I want to be the teacher they remember ten years from now, as the one who helped them become the outstanding citizens they will become. I am an energetic and professional educator with experience leading sports, classroom, and outdoor-style activities with children and teenagers across Canada and the UK.
