have experience teaching A-Level Psychology, alongside a strong academic and research background in psychology, research methods, and statistics. I also work as a UCL-affiliated psychology researcher and have experience supporting SEND students. My teaching focuses not only on understanding the content, but on showing students exactly how to turn their knowledge into marks. I teach practical exam strategies, including how to recognise what each question is asking, how to structure answers around AO1, AO2 and AO3, where marks are typically gained or lost, and specific techniques for approaching different question types efficiently. I also use past-paper questions and mark schemes to give students strategies and shortcuts that make exam expectations much clearer, while adapting lessons to each student’s individual strengths and weaknesses.
