Advert description
Bringing eight years of experience supporting learners in Maths, English, ESL, and French, working with students aged 12–18, as well as adults, I’m applying to learn more about the opportunity to contribute to FindTutors’ success. Across all subjects, my approach is clear, structured, and student centred, with a strong focus on building confidence, improving academic performance, and helping learners develop long term study skills; an approach that I’m confident will continue to support students partnered with FindTutors and beyond.
My background includes extensive one to one and small group tutoring, exam preparation, homework support, and language instruction (online and in-person). I have worked with learners at different levels, including secondary school students, newcomers to English, and adults seeking academic or professional improvement. As I’ve recently made the move to London, commencing Law school at Queen Mary University, and giving up my private tutoring practice as a result, I’m longing for the opportunity to continue supporting the growth and development of students in the role of a tutor. I am also a bilingual French speaker, holding the DELF B2, and currently operating at a C1 level, allowing me to tutor French learners with accuracy, fluency, and cultural insight.
I enjoy adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs, whether they require structured curriculum support, conversational language practice, or targeted help with specific topics.
