I’m a dedicated educator based in London, with a teaching career spanning 11 years across primary, secondary, private, and international settings. I hold a First-Class degree in Music from the University of Oxford and have taught privately full-time for over five years, preparing students for ABRSM exams with consistently excellent results.

I believe that when students feel inspired and emotionally connected to what they’re playing, progress comes more naturally. Every student is treated as an individual, and I adapt my teaching to each person’s interests, goals, and learning style. Lessons are active and engaging, often involving improvisation, duetting, listening, and exploring patterns at the piano alongside developing technique and reading skills.

My lessons can be anything from structured and holistic to being more open-ended and spontaneous, depending on the needs of the student. My priority is to make the challenge of learning the piano feel enjoyable, rewarding, and meaningful - above all, to nurture a lasting connection with the music.
