Physics (A level) tutor - graduate of Cambridge University in Physics

I have extensive education in physics and maths. I am about to graduate from the University of Cambridge at master’s level in Physics. I also obtained a first-class Bachelor’s degree from The Open University. Before I came to the UK, I was a maths and physics tutor for about 3 years helping high school students with their maths and physics lessons and also for students preparing for university entry exams. Apart from this, I have been working as an offshore structural engineer within the industry for about 20 years. While in the UK, beside my main work as a structural engineer, I have sometimes been involved in private tutoring for my friends' kids who needed help to improve their maths and physics skills from basic to advanced level.
I am a tutor for Physics and Maths. I can teach at high school and also university level courses such as classic and modern physics, high school maths and also advanced engineering mathematics. I think the best method of teaching is to work from fundamentals and make students understand the main principles of the subject and enhance this by practising. I can help you with obtaining an understanding of the concepts and perform exercises to prepare for your exams. For practice sessions, I try to have a tailored programme for the students to match their goals. In general, the discipline of the work is important for me. Therefore, having a plan for progress and tracking the progress will be an integral part of my teaching. In some cases, this plan may be adapted in a flexible manner to suit the student’s specific concerns and conditions. Generally, every student will have specific targets or methods of understanding the concepts which I would try to adapt my teaching style to meet these goals.
