Advert description
Hi I’m Anjali, and I help motivated students overcome academic and mental roadblocks to transform not just their grades, but how they learn, think, and see their own potential.
My Approach:
In our sessions, we focus on two key areas: mastering the subject and mastering the mindset.
That means understanding tricky concepts, sharpening exam techniques, and building smart revision habits - while also tackling the deeper challenges that often hold students back: self-doubt, perfectionism, anxiety, overwhelm, poor time management, and difficulty staying focused.
By weaving mindset coaching directly into tutoring, we don’t just work on what to learn - we also work on the how and why. Students begin to gain a deeper understanding of themselves as learners, recognising which strategies specifically work for them, which don’t, and why - unlocking a level of self-awareness that will benefit them far beyond their academic lives.
Having trained and practiced as a pharmacist, science and maths have always been at the heart of what I do. This experience has led me not only to learn what it takes to master these subjects but more importantly how to help others grasp these concepts too. In healthcare, my role was to take complex information, make it clear, and empower patients to use it confidently and as a tutor I now bring that same clarity, patience, and empathy to my students.
I believe real learning is about understanding and applying knowledge, not just memorising facts for an exam. That’s why my approach is rooted in first principles - helping students truly grasp foundational concepts and see how it all connects beyond the classroom.
The changes you’ll see:
Students I work with often start to see themselves differently. They stop fearing mistakes and start using them as stepping stones. They take ownership of their learning. They start believing in themselves and their abilities. And when that happens, the improvement of grades becomes inevitable - not because they’re chasing approval or because someone’s been ‘on their case’, but because they’ve reconnected with their own drive to improve and succeed.
For the right students:
I work best with students who want to engage, grow, and take responsibility for their progress. If that sounds like your child - I'd love to help!
