Anna Bacon is a London-born violinist and teacher, trained at the Royal College of Music and Cambridge University (MA Honours), where she performed as a soloist and sang with Emmanuel College Choir.
With over 25 years’ experience, she teaches in London and online, working with both UK and international pupils, children and adults, from complete beginners to those returning to violin. Anna has tutored the Violin section of the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. Her pupils have gained Music scholarships to leading independent schools and places in the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain.
She combines professional expertise with a patient, supportive approach. Her pupils have a 100% ABRSM success rate, achieving Merit or Distinction.
Alongside teaching, Anna performs as a 1st violinist with leading London orchestras and has appeared at major venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, and Smith Square Hall. She is a member of the Music Teachers Association and holds an Enhanced DBS
