Passionate primary school teacher with experience in achieving great results in phonics and early reading. 7 plus and 11 plus too.

I will use my own assessments to find out the gaps in your child’s knowledge and tailor my lessons to fill these gaps in a fun and engaging way. I will use a mixture of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic teaching and learning methods to ensure that your child is able to apply what they have learnt in different contexts. I have over 6 years of working in schools, ranging from Reception to Year 6. I have lots of experience of teaching online due to Covid. I also have 4 years working with a private family, helping them to prepare their child for the 7 plus. I can teach all subjects, but have a particular passion for phonics, early reading, maths and science.
