Hello! I am offering one-to-one, online maths tuition for GCSE and A-level students. I will ensure that I adapt the lessons to the student's needs, and will be patient and committed to get them to the level they hope to achieve

I studied physics at university, where I got a 1st class degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Sheffield. I am currently a PhD student researching astronomy, and so use mathematics daily in my research.

I intend to teach using real-life examples, showing how each subject can be applied to particular situations, jobs, or fields of research. This would of course depend on the level I was teaching at, and I would make sure that the language used would be adjusted to the level of the student.
