I intend to use a combination of pre-made slides, for example using powerpoint, as well as interactive whiteboard writing online that allows demonstrations and examples. I will be patient, and ensure that the student fully understands any topic before moving on. I intend to use a combination of pre-made slides, for example using powerpoint, as well as interactive whiteboard writing online that allows demonstrations and examples. I will be patient, and ensure that the student fully understands any topic before moving on. I may request homeworks, but these will be brief and are intended to make sure that the student is comfortable with the method of topic.
At the start of any set of lessons, I will make sure I understand what level the student is working at, for example GCSE or A-level. I will look to understand their targets and aims, and will also particularly want to understand which subjects they may be struggling with. These subjects can become the focus of the tutoring course, as it is important to adapt the lessons to the students need. Not every student is the same after all!
