Online Tutor: English, Maths, ESL

I have worked in a variety of educational settings with a wide range of learners and have extensive experience of assisting groups and individuals to achieve academic success. This has involved adapting given curricula to specific groups of learners, tracking student progress, assessing learners and helping them to monitor their own learning, developing individual education plans, behaviour management policies and risk management strategies, as well as providing feedback and pastoral care. I have also contributed to the design and development of school curricula, especially during my time at Tuke School and the British School of Gran Canaria.

Teaching abroad has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have enjoyed extending my skills and developing my practice in new environments, as well as facing the challenges of learning, and adapting to, new cultures. I feel that I have a valuable breadth of experience that has enabled me to be adaptable and intuitive. In 2021 I taught my class online for several months during lockdown. I am familiar with using the technology, resources and strategies required for effective remote teaching.
